Forgot the Nokia Security Code? You can regain the code back or reset to default settings.

I noticed a lot of Nokia phone users forgot the security code and having hard time figuring out how to reset the code to default settings. Now you can stop the headache because regain or reset the code is easy on BB5 phones. Yesterday I wrote the step by step tutorials regarding this on the Zedge forums after reading the problem of the Zedger is having. So I decided to post this on my blog as well. Hope the tutorials help.  Any question about this are welcome. Now, let’s start on how to regain your forgotten security code back.
Tools Required :
- Nemesis Service Suite (NSS)
- Nokia PC Suite
- Data cable
Regain Your Security Code
Steps:
1. Install Nokia PC Suite
2. Install Nemesis Service Suite (NSS)
3. Connect your phone to your PC with data cable. If the phone prompts, choose default mode or PC Suite mode (DON’T OPEN PC SUITE)
4. Open Nemesis Service suite (NSS)
5. Click scan for new devices button (on top right corner of NSS)
6. Click Phone Info button.
7. Click Scan button.
8. Click Permanent Memory tab.
9. Click Read button.
10. It will read the permanent memory file and save it on the disk at following path.
C:\Program Files\NSS\Backup\pm\.pm
11. Open the .pm file using Notepad.
12. Now scroll until field [308], and on the 5th Record (5=) your security code is saved at there.
13. Like 5=31323334350000000000 (Example)
14. Abandon the red fonts.
15. So, 12345 is your security code. (Example)
Now, here is how to reset your security code.
Reset Security Code
Steps:
1. Install Nokia PC Suite
2. Install Nemesis Service Suite (NSS)
3. Connect your phone to your PC with data cable. If the phone prompts, choose default mode or PC Suite mode (DON’T OPEN PC SUITE)
4. Open Nemesis Service suite (NSS)
5. Click scan for new devices button (on top right corner of NSS)
6. Click Phone Info button.
7. Click Scan button.
8. Under Power Mode, click Local and then click Change button. At this part, your phone should restart, and you should see the text Local mode across your phone screen.
9. Under Production Data Edit, click Read button. The textboxes should now contain values.
10. Check the Enable check box beside Product Code.
11. Click Write button.
12. SelectTools button on top
13. Click Factory Settings tab
13. Tick Full Factory button and click Reset button.
14. Final step, go back to Phone Info and click Normal then Change.
Now your security code should be 12345.
Since you can have the forgotten code back, why you want to reset the code to default? LOL. :-)

Beware OF Free Ipad Download Sites!

By: Dana Goldberg

Ipad is the hottest device released in 2010. You can ask any Ipad owner. Everyone will tell you that they simply love it. There is no better way to read e-mails, browse the web and view photos. You can also read books on it and the touch screen allows you to even turn the page as if it were a real book. You can also watch videos on Ipad. Now you can watch your favorite movie on the go in DVD quality. The battery life offers hours upon hours of use. Apple really hit the mark when it released the iPad to the public.

Of course you will have to have the option of downloading content to your Ipad. But Apple took care of this as well.. The Apple store is well known. The only downside is that Apple store is very expensive. If you want to download a book you will have to pay up to $12. That is just too much for some people to consider spending. The good news is that alternative Ipad download sites are poppping up everywhere on the internet.

As soon as the Ipad was released smart business man realised that Ipad owners needed a cheaper place to download content. This is why soon after the release of Apple's new computer Ipad download sites started to show up on the net. The only thing you have to do to join these sites was to pay a one time fee. This is really a great deal. You will find all kinds of content and of course tons of Ipad books. By taking advantage of one of these unlimited Ipad download sites, consumers no longer have to worry to spend too much money at the Apple store.

With the arrival of these sites that offered a one time fee for unlimited downloads came free sites. It's a matter of fact that if people can get something for free, they will get it. But free is not always good. These so-called free sites offer content that will infect your iPad with trojans, worms, and viruses. That's the last thing that you need when you are just trying to get some nice applications or iPad books on to your device.

Any iPad owner that wants to be able to have the best downloads should immediately sign up on a site that offers unlimited downloads for a one time fee. This is a better option than paying and arm and a leg at the Apple store. It is also better than ending up with a rather expensive paper weight, which your iPad might become if you go to a virus filled free site.

Training for a Job In IT While Unemployed

Training for a Job In IT While Unemployed

By: Eric Shanman

As of July 2010, there are more that 14 million unemployed workers in America hoping to get a new job. To make things worse, companies have learned they can still make profits by cutting costs. Since fixed costs cannot be reduced, businesses opt to reduce the amount of time needed to produce a product or provide a service. This translates to a reduction of working hours and an increased use of technology. The paradox, however, is the fear of the increasing complexity of technology-driven markets. We still have not grasped the magnitude of the internet and all the businesses that may revolve around it; however, we are slowly learning many things as the industry recovers from the initial .gold rush. Some experts believe the biggest lesson is that we must always keep on learning.

"Being unemployed is the perfect time to assess if you are working at your talent," says Peter Weddle, former Chairman & CEO of Job Bank USA, Inc., one of the largest electronic employment service companies in the United States. He goes on to define talent as the intersection between passion and practicality or, in other words, "what you love to do but also what you do well." Knowing who you are and having an open minded attitude are the keys to a successful career. Weddle states that job seekers need to convey that they know their professional development is never done and that they take personal responsibility for doing it. He stresses that the best candidates "need to look intentionally incomplete on their resumes" to be set apart from the rest of the pack.

Understanding that businesses are becoming more efficient through technology and knowing what your talent is may lead you to a fulfilling career in IT. There might even be opportunities for those artistic individuals who despise capitalism and a technology-oriented economy. By learning Flash, a multimedia platform used to add animation, video and interactivity to Web pages, designers can create a new type of art that will define how users interact with businesses and other organizations through the internet. It is up to them to create a better world via the web.

Developing Java might be logically reasonable for more analytical individuals. Basically, Java programmers write code that powers state-of-the-art programs, including utilities, games, and business applications. It's a skill highly sought by businesses all over the world. Highly organized techies might enjoy working as a System Administrator, who is responsible for the effective preparation, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software, and related infrastructure. They must know how to manage Linux and Windows systems and be ready to go to work whenever these have a problem.

Although learning new languages and committing to continuous training might be tedious, job seekers must try to keep things in perspective. Technology has changed the world and provided IT professionals different types of careers. Those who are able to understand the new rules shaping the web world wide will have more options in the long run.
